Punkin’ Chocolate Chip Cookies

I don’t think there is a more winning combination than pumpkin and chocolate. This recipe takes the classic chocolate chip cookie and combines it with pumpkin to create a new cookie jar staple.

Prep Time: 10 min | Bake Time: 8-10 min
What You Need:

1 stick unsalted butter
1/2c sugar
1tsp vanilla
6T pumpkin puree
1.5c flour
1/4tsp salt
1/4tsp baking soda
1/4tsp baking powder
2tsp cinnamon
1/4tsp cloves
1/4tsp allspice
pinch of nutmeg
1/2c dark chocolate mini chips

What You Do:
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Sift together all dry ingredients and set aside
3. Melt butter and whisk in sugar until well combines and smooth
4. Whisk in vanilla and pumpkin
5. Add wet ingredients to dry and carefully fold until well combined
6. Fold in the chocolate chips then place the dough in the fridge to let set for 30 min
7. Measure out dough and place onto a cookie sheet, ensuring enough room to allow for spreading, and press down slightly on the dough
8. Bake for 8-10 min and immediately remove from oven, allowing to cool slightly before transferring them to a wire rack
*Cookies are done after set time and may deceive you into thinking they are not, do not bake longer or they will dry out*
